“Fairness in the Workplace"

Why it's so hard to be fair...

And so costly not to be!

TOPIC:

This presentation will motivate participants to think about fairness in the workplace in a more detailed and comprehensive manner. The content will be informed by classic and current academic research on fairness with an emphasis on research which is more relevant for helping managers in contemporary organizations deal with fairness-related issues.

By the end of the presentation, participants should have a more nuanced understanding of what it means to "be fair," the benefits associated with being fair, how to respond to accusations of unfairness, and how organizations can encourage and facilitate fair treatment.
