Greetings, Colleagues and Community Leaders –

The University of West Florida Men’s Empowerment Network (UWF MEN) will be hosting a Tacky Tie Networking Night, which will take place on Monday, Dec. 1, from5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Argo Galley on the campus of UWF. During the event, University students will learn how to articulate leadership abilities, craft their introductory elevator speech and develop key professional development skills that will help prepare them as they make the transition into the workforce.

UWF MEN is a program designed to offer academic and social support as well as mentoring opportunities for male college students at the University of West Florida. All students who participate are required to uphold a standard of academic and professional excellence. I encourage you to participate as a way to support UWF students as they practice real, fun and professional networking. Hors d'oeuvres will be served, and we urge participating individuals to wear your favorite tacky tie, sweater or suit!
