He will share interpretations of information from external sources (i.e.-educational institutions and their impact and initiatives related to technological advances, economic environment, and current labor pool.

Scott Luth joined the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce as Senior Vice President of Economic Development in 2011. In 2015, Luth established the Economic development department as a separate entity, now called FloridaWest, a 501 c 6 organization whose sole mission is to create and expand economic prosperity in the Greater Pensacola area. He is responsible for Greater Pensacola’s economic development strategy, which includes business expansion and retention, entrepreneurial development, workforce development, attraction activities to market the Pensacola region, and asset development.
Beginning in 2007, Luth worked as business development manager for Entergy Mississippi Inc. in Jackson, Miss., an energy company providing power to more than 430,000 people in 45 of Mississippi’s 82 counties. While with Entergy, Luth identified business opportunities, developed target industry strategies and tracked industrial leads.
Prior to working with Entergy, Luth held the position of executive vice president for the Glasgow-Barren County Industrial Development Economic Authority in Glasgow, Ky. Luth has previously worked in economic development in Cleveland, Miss., Batesville, Miss., Corinth, Miss., and Natchez.
An Ohio native and a 1992 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in management, Luth is married with two children.
