Storytelling for Recruitment

Justin Libak

Presentation Summary

In today’s changing job market, finding extraordinary people can be more challenging. This makes a company’s need for passive recruitment and setting themselves apart in a positive way more important than it once was. Differentiation has become a vital part of the recruitment process as unemployment is at 3.8% nationally in March.

In this installment in our Educational Series, we will work around storytelling and how to set your organization apart from the sea of sameness. We will review how to get a recruitment branding & awareness campaign started as well as look at various forms of distribution such as video, blogs, and other written content to name a few.

Objectives of this session area:

1. Discover why employer branding and storytelling is essential for recruitment today.

2. Understand the process of determining your organization’s unique characteristics and using those to develop a story.

3. Brainstorm ways to tell your story through cost-effective and efficient mediums.

4. Determine when and where to place your message for optimal interaction and ROI.
